I recall some time ago there was a post that said adding iodine to mineral mix greatly aided in eliminating pink eye. Does anyone recall how much should be added?

I also thought there was a search function for this board but am blank on finding it

Not sure about the iodine but keeping flies under control will help a lot. As for the search function, it is located at the very top of each page.  Next to login, logout.  Good luck!

Unlikely. I'd guess you're misremembering, or whomever wrote that is probably wrong.

Additional iodine (used to be provided by adding more EDDI) probably helps some with footrot.  Have seen some herds where adding some extra Vitamin A to the ration seemed to help with incidence & decreased severity of pinkeye.
