On Shorthorn pedigrees there are now sometimes PM, PS, or PMSY ahead of the name of the animal.  Look up Enticer,  Rodeo Drive, or Dividend.  What do those mean?  Is there an explanation for them at ASA online?

There is also SY.  That one is on 2975's pedigree.

Thanks, I needed that!  PD is another one, so I checked one of the cow pedigrees from your ASA link and saw that she is PD.  Ryan, is there a link or something on the side to click on to give the definition of each of them?

I must admit that in these times of a new genetic defect (DS), that I'm paying more attention to all the other things ahead of the animal's name on the pedigree, since the carrier list is not yet published.  One has to wonder if someone seldom around Shorthorns or the ASA would not question the extra letters ahead of the registered name.
