I guess I am asking, who is the best one today regardless of price?  This is all hypothetical but just wanted to see where we are at today on peoples beliefs in these bulls.  You get one vote.

I agree. I mean everybody loves heat wave and monopoly.  I am a new found lover of eye candy. I seen about eighty at one ranch. All alike and good.

Why ask a question you already know the answer to? I'm just saying.

I just wanted to check where everyone is at this year.  These are some of the best bulls in the business and I know there are so many more really good ones that are not on this list.  But, really it was for fun.  I do not have a dog in this fight as you know.  I plan on using most of these bulls this year.  They are all very good ones though and it is only a poll to see how people feel about them.

if you have a bull you think that should have been on this list you can always say so below.  But, this was only for fun.

Right now Heatwave is still winning most of the majors. But there will be another. It also depends what your breeding to.

Of the choices, I am going with WMW, because we are trying to keep it clean in our herd.

If you would see most of the cows that some of these great ones come out of you change your mind  (lol). I picked Walks Alone, I know we are only allowed one straw but with the bulls listed i would put in one WA and one WMW and what ever one got there first is the winner  (lol)

You have a great selection of sires picked an they are all capable of  sireing ome very good ones ,but it takes two to tango an some cows have already proven what they work good on so it is very tough to single out a bull, for example HW -has worked very good for a lot of people , I haven't found the cow yet that he works on an not sure I want to have the extra stress from using him, but the younger folks take less sleep than I do an aren't as causious as some of us old timers who have done that, been there, an not sure it's worth it ...JAMIE  There is a lot of variables out there to deal with ...

If you have not seen[evidently most haven't] calves out of Crimson Tide you are missing the boat. most are in Texas, but seen some really good one's in Oklahoma,Kansas, and come visit us in Wisconsin and I'll show you a bull calf born April 10th that will be promoted this fall and winter if all goes well [fingers crossed]. All jokes aside,Hairy bear bred to shorthorns works really well and Crimson Tide back on shorthorns works really well. Our calf is a Crimson Tide x out of Wernacres Ace High x CF Royal daughter....[Smokin} There are lots of good bulls, one straw, one cow,.... for clubbys...Heat Wave. for maternal, any one of a host of bulls that has MILK in their pedigree.

TMJ, you always seem to have the inside scoop on new bulls!  I may be in Wisconsin in a couple months, if I am I may try to drop you a line and look at some calves.

agreed. But at some point you swing for the fences.
That is what this poll was about. Going for broke to win.
