Looking to buy some portable load bar scales and just wondered who makes the best for the money. I'll probably get a set of load bars and build a alley platform. I am curious about how durable and accurate they are. Thanks for any input.

Ours are TruTest and I really like them. Simple to set up, not a lot of trouble to move if you need to, and very accurate. We have a digital read out box with storage and memory capabilities we don't eve use, but that could be handy.

Rice Lake Weighing Systems bought Norac Scales last year.  I have Norac Scales and have never had a minute of trouble with them.  Never have to be calibrated like a lot of the other scale systems.  They are very accurate.

Per reading other posts on here about scales I decided to buy some load bar scales from palletscales.net this fall.  They were less exspensive than others I looked at. Free shipping, the custormer service was good, and they shipped promptly.  I am really happy with them so far. I built a platform for them that the vets chute can sit on and weighed the calves when we worked them this fall.

everything drifts, what do you use to check?

I have had the State Dept. of Agriculture certify my scales as to be accurate.  They do it every year.
