I have been to show barns where they have the posts in the ground about 3' from the tie rail and about 3' apart. Now my question is has anyone seen them in a cooler? Could you put some in a cooler? They would need to be further apart so they could lay down? How far apart would work best? The reason im asking im tried of fighting with the cattle when im blowing them out. They keep swinging back and forth.

I have posts in my cooler and have seen them in a lot of coolers mine are a little farther back than 3 ft and they are about 4 ft apart just enough so they can lay down.

I actually put single stalls in my cool room.  Nothing fancy just posts and 2 X 6 boards.  Keeps them straight to fans and does not allow them to get at each other.  Otherwise they will almost always lie sideways and swing when you try to work with them.

Another thing that you could put in there that would be like the single stalls would be tie stalls out of a dairy barn. I know it might take some time to find them but they work amazing. They don't restrict air movement from the fans and they are pretty strong.
