Quite the contrast to many of the superstar athletes UT has turned ought.  They ought to promote him as a spokesman for UT way more than they did Ricky Williams and Vince Young.

Kevin is a guy you can feel good about letting your kids root for - for many reasons.  He gets "it".

The families that were devastated by this event, need all the prayers they can get.  It is just heart breaking, sickening, etc.....(words can't describe) what happend to those kids that were in the school that took a direct hit. Many teachers that made it and those that perished are hero's. They put their lives in danger to save as many kids possible by laying on them to hold them down.  I told my kids this morning to hug their teachers neck today because their teachers truly love em and will do anything to protect them.  Here is a thought, someone needs to make a video like the farmer video that says (and God made teachers).

What'd Ricky ever do?

From a friend of mine:

And on the 9th day, God looked down on his planed paradise and said, "I need someone to live where the red dirt is settled." So God made Oklahomans. He said "I need someone who can handle the blistering summers and the freezing winters." So God made Oklahomans. "I need someone who can wake up in the morning, drink black coffee, head out to the fields, cut the wheat, bale the hay, and stay in those fields till long after dark" so God made Oklahomans. "I need people tough enough to stand the heat as they work day in and out on drilling rigs and pumping units." So God made Oklahomans. "I need people to wear Orange & Black, Crimson & Cream and though those schools are rivals, all can rise together to support the Orange & Blue." So God made Oklahomans. "I need people who believe in me and the power of goodness. People who aren't afraid to say 'Hello!' to one another and welcome in visitors to their land with open arms." So God made Oklahomans. "I need people who are strong enough to stand thru the strongest storms and the most devastating heartbreaks" So God made Oklahomans. And amidst the destruction, turn to me for comfort and come together as a state and rise above it all. So God, made Oklahomans...

You can blow us up,
But you can't break us down.
We will rebuild,
In every town.
When 1 man falls,
10 will rise.
To dust him off,
And stand by his side.
Our hearts are broken,
For those we've lost.
Homes destroyed,
Vehicles tossed.
Takes more than wind,
To break our stride.
Standing united,
That's Oklahoma pride.

My family has the community of Moore in our prayers. What a shame that these things happen to good folk going about their daily business, it seems that if it is not an earthquake it's a fire or a tornado or a hurricane. Where ever we live we live with the possibility of a natural disaster and they make absolutely no sense at all.
