What is your process for dying cattle?  We use a fogger bottle and blower and it works but as somewhat of a neat freak I am always looking for a cleaner way to do it.  It seems like we end up with dyed hand, blowers, dogs, fences, and sometimes kids when we do it this way.  How do you dye cattle?  I kind of wondered about using one of those garden sprayers with the pump and the wand, do you think that would work?

Yeah, that might work...you could also use a spray bottle like you'd put Kleen Sheen in.  I've even heard of people mixing the dye with a little Kleen Sheen, but I've not had a ton of experience dying cattle, I raise mostly Shorthorns!

We use a fogger and blower on 1 setting, and that for us had been the easiest and cleanest way to do it, fog 1 side brush it in and then do the other side.  Put rubber gloves on and wear old clothes and don't itch your nose!  We have used a spray bottle, but it just takes too long.

I use a squirt bottle and one of those red plastic brushes.  I squirt and then brush it in until the whole calf is done.  I don't think you waste near as much this way, plus it is a lot cleaner.

Just depends what you like best. Just experiment and see whats most effective for you. I personally like using the spray bottle and kleen sheen.
