A couple months back I debated on this site whether or not I should buy a heifer sired by Q-Dog.  Well we decided to buy her and she was clipped up for the first time last night to get ready for her first show.  It will be my daughters first show as well.  I can't wait to see my daughter show for the first time.  She really likes her heifer, treats it like a horse, always brushing her hair.  I think the heifer has some good parts.  What do you think of my daughters first heifer?  I posted a picture of her prior to being clipped and afterwards.  In both pictures she is empty, I didn't get to feed her prior to getting her clipped.

I will be glad to keep you all informed.  The show we are going to this weekend is being Judged by Kirt Stierwalt. I am confident we will get some reliable feedback since he is the judge. Hopefully the calf will act good for my daughter since they both will be nervous.

Agreed (clapping) Really nice heifer. She sure cleaned up well. I think your daughter will have a fun year with her. It's great to hear she's involved and enjoys what she's doing!

The heifer is almost 7 months old.  The one thing I like about this heifer is that she is an eater.  When we bought her my brother bought a heifer two months older and it out weighed her by almost 150 lbs.  Now they are only 90 lbs apart.  The people that have seen her in person say she is still a little green and might not do as well as she should since she is a little yount.

Nice looking heifer, looks good should do well as a show heifer and should have some good calves in the future. I have seen some pretty good calves out of Q-Dog.
