Have a heifer that has either been sneaky about her heat cycles or is not cycling.  Did vet exam and everything normal and could feel follicles with everything in the right place.  Decided to use GnRH with lute a week later and did use the GnRH.  However, after thinking it over I was concerned that the GnRH may not be good because the bottle was subjected to below freezing temperatures in a refrigerator in the barn (several cans of diet pepsi exploded in the frig).  Have not use the lute yet and instead considering another shot of GnRH first with a fresh bottle.  It appears that there would be no harm in a second shot of GnRH 7 days after the first one even if the first one was good quality GnRH and then lute in a week.  Any opinions?

If you gave GnRH 7 days ago and that was when u had her checked and she had a follicle, I would go ahead with the Lut. Even if your GnRH was below par she should be far enough in her cycle to give her Lut. Personally, if you are having trouble catching her I would put a CIDR in her and force breed her.

Gnrh is tough to screw up, regardless of what happens.  Don't make a habit of it but go on with what you were doing just like nothing happened.
