Where would you suggest somebody going to buy one Reg. Red Angus female. A good solid female. A female that can milk and a cow that could possibly be worth flushing to make females to build a foundation. A female if mated right could produce a show heifer. Mainly, Im looking for a few names of reputible breeders who have a sale each year. So far, Ive looked at Soultion Genetics, Weber Land and Cattle, and Chain Ranch.

Hands down I would recommend looking at TJS red angus. Awesome people and great cattle. Blairs and SSS have always intrigued but I have never seen their operations in person. Same with Arrowsmith but I would bet they are much closer to you.

I would make contact with Road Warrior on here aka Stu Gilcrist.  He travels the country looking at red angus and could certainly steer you in the right direction. Some great programs in Canada. Bar-E-L, Lazy MC, Blair's, Wilbar, Wraz,to name a few.

Shuey Stock Farm- Tecumseh, NE and Corning, IA

Keith "Doc" Shuey is a family practice physician in Tecumseh and his son Scott is a Vet in Corning, IA. They should have cattle in Denver this week and I know they are selling in the Denver sale.

I run the barn at Bcr ventures in Bryan texas we are the United states branch of lazy Mc's genetics and handle all the stateside dealings with those cattle
We have a sale on breedersworld the last thursday in September with elite show heifer prospects like the one pictured here (she was out of the sale) in denver yesterday. Keep in mind she came up from texas and stood second in the March class to the spring calf champion

Send me a text 979-676-1450 if you're curious about pedigrees or certain family lines or anything else

I'm a little late to the party here. We get the opportunity to see thousands of Red Angus cattle all over the United States and some in Canada every year. I can tell you that there are cattle in nearly every region of the country that will likely suit you. At this point it is a matter of how far do you want to travel from where you are located to see the cattle in person, which I would highly recommend. RW
