Nice calves! If I didn't have a pile of embryos out of an Alamo granddaughter that I was planning on building my herd with, I'd probably be planning a trip down there this year to look for a herd sire  <beer>

Nice calves,  they look good especially like the heifer.
Wisdom and Patience are both virtues.  However, they are attained only by failures, tests and trials.

Ditto very sound and they have a spread between bws and weaning that looks to be larger in real pounds than some of the other functional or performance oriented cattle  O0

Calves are nice and thick, judging by the videos.

Nice. I had no idea you had a granddaughter. Alamos EPDs put him top 4% of every dollar index. I think hes a useful bull and semi proven now. Cody Nelson is getting him collected soon so semen will hopefully be available to anyone who wants to sample him. I have four or five calves that will make bulls this year and will be for sale. I also have the two Alamo sons we retained last year for use. One injured his leg pretty bad but seems to have rounded the corner and is doing well now.

Glad to see some folks appreciate a commercial type shorthorn. These Canadian cattle still have the ability to thrive in that sector. They really do well here in Ohio and the crossbred calves out of the angus and commercial cows really grow and look good doing it. Thanks for the comments and feedback
