Saw a bunch of bulls at a sale last March.  Decent bulls, moderate, but what struck me was that they were far hairier than the other sire groups.  It was a fairly normal day and most of them were panting where the others took the stress far better. Made me think.  I personally am staying away from Mission Statement genetics right now as I am trying to breed away from poor CEM thanks to another bull in my pedigrees.

Here is a bred heifer that we bought this fall. I really like how broody she is and good structured. I was kind of a nay sayer about him early on because of the extreme calving ease deal etc. I had a chance to see him this fall and he is an absolute stud. Excellent rib, thick, good footed and good structured. Needless to say I bred the fall cows to him and am ordering more semen on him. As far as the TH deal I don't even know how that applies. He has been verified 100% parentage to his sire and dam. We don't have problems like that in the red angus. That is a shorthorn deal.

I like the looks of him. Seems to be some nice cattle out of him. Haven't seen anything though so I can't recommend him personally.
