Here are two 1/2 Red Galloway 1/2 Red Angus bred heifers.

I thought they represent pretty darn good commercial females.

I think this particular cross is a gold mine right now. If I was starting over I would do it with cows like this. The time consuming selection work has been done and all that's left is to choose which direction to go from here.
I'd go with a real world red Shorthorn bull or a Durham Red.
Or go soggier, if that's what you like.

Can you tell us more about the bloodlines?

I don't know anything about the Red Angus bloodlines.  The females are owned by Chickadee Farms in Alberta.

The Galloway bloodlines are Brass Ring Galloway out of Terry, MT.

I see the Chickadee Farms is under one of the links of Ter-Ron Farms. Possible they originate to some their genetics?

Girls look like momma cows in the making. I like Liabrian's idea of shorthorn on these gals. Take either one of them put in the herd.

I posted these pics, because I like these type of cows.  In my opinion you could take these females, or their black counterparts, and breed them to any terminal cross breed bull and not go wrong.  White-faced calves breed Hereford, smokes or Prairie Fires- Charolais.  You could go Limmy, Gelbveih, or Simmy, but many of those are higher % Angus than some of the Angus.  ;)

Unfortunately many of the terminal breeds have tried to be come a one size fits all, by adding British breed blood.  Variances within many breeds are becoming greater than the difference between breeds.  Producers have fewer options to change their programs.

My opinion.

It would be unfortunate to make a breeding decision that diminished all the marbling that is built into this cross. Maybe use something not far removed from Leader 21 on them.
I crossed a white Galloway and a red angus and got what I thought was a nice bull a few years ago. I don't have a better picture, but you if you look around the calf in this picture you can get the idea.

Top one looks a bit too masculine for me, thick and short neck, may be the picture, but the bottom one IMO would give a great calf from a red, or rich red roan, Shorthorn bull!
