I don't have all of Greenhorns, but I have some highlights.

High seller- Lot 1, a Red Reward x Margie 610S sold for $40k to the Eric Moore family.

1/2 interest in Margie 610S brought $15,500 to the Luke Turner family.

Lot 2d was the 2nd high selling heifer, at $11,000 to the Williams family.

Cattle sold from coast to coast (New York to California and Oregon), and also Canada.

This was our first year consigning to this great sale, and our fall born ShorthornPlus heifer sold for $5,500 to eastern Ohio.

Really can't say enough good things about the Greenhorns; they're so supportive of all their guest consignors and put a crazy amount of work into their facility and operation in general.

Very good, consistent set of cattle.  Excellent crowd, great facility.  Some cattle sold well worth the money.  Some of the semen sold a lot higher than I have seen lately, others not so high.  Just so hard to tell what people are looking for.  Highlight of the sale was my daughter's cookies served with the lunch.

How do these cattle stack up with the big boys Cates and Sullivan?

A Greenhorn heifer won NAILE in 2012, and they're always very competitive.

There was 2 Greenhorn heifers won KY and TN state fairs this year. Same heifers, just swapped who was Grand and who was Reserve. They also won some spring Expo's and will be very competitive at NAILE this fall.

There was some very good values at the swing the gate sale.  We have bought two from Rodney and both were very good values.  One was second in her class at the Junior nationals and will make a great cow and the other one won her class and if someone other than a 38 pound 9 year old had been showinh her she may have won that division.  She went ahead an won champion at our state fair. The picture is of her while my son was showing her in the open show.  As a plus she bred the first time to Hot Commodity and is due the first week of march.  We think she will look really good come Denver and Fort Worth.
