When you say large framed how large 6, 6.5, 7?  I would go with JPJ or a son.  Keeps the calving really easy and doesn't give up much in the way of show either.

The cows are actually 7+ frame cows.  Does anyone know where I could get semen on the Fringe bull?

We would like to take the time to Thank the Olson Family for their purchase of Hi View Red Diamond from us at Polled Congress. This bull is out of Wernacres Ace High 620 and his calving ease epd is a -1.6. Therefore, we feel that Red Diamond  bull should be good to use on heifers and again like ALL first year bulls time and the first calf crop will tell. We do feel that when the JPJ heifers come into production that Red Diamond would be a good choice to breed them to.

stithka, I talked to Joel Brooks last Friday and he though that they would have semen available in about 2 weeks, semen should be available through all major distributors.

12 months and about 2 weeks.  Just took the pics last week. 

Who is the Jazzman bull?  Looks like someone put some time into the pic.  What frame size is he, and what cow is he out of.  I also have a great big cow I would like to downsize, but I don't need to looze any of her look and style.
