We ve fed it all year on 2 different sets and it works well, but I suggest adding beet pulp and there guts pellet its awsome and works great! Nice thing about Gene's feed is its cheap enough you can afford to add stuff to it.

I have feed heifer the .49dx and it has worked very well. Just picked up more .49dx and guts.38, going to slowly work her to a half and half ration. Just was'nt sure about mixing and  or going to just .38 guts how the do on that.

I think Rowe is the best feed money can buy. As far as how you should feed it. The .49 should be fed exclusively if you are still trying to get the heifer into show condition. If the heifer is fat enough for show then you will want to start mixing in the Guts feed. The higher the energy, ".49 compared to .38", the more fat you will put on them and show condition. The guts is for adding volume to the gut by blowing up the stomachs with high fiber. Half and half may be too much Guts. It all depends on what your heifer needs. You could always just ask Gene and he will tell you.
