We feed rowe jackpot .49 and we love it. It is a very nice complete feed and seems to give them lots of depth and volume.

We use Rowe feed.  Had grand champion steer & grand champion heifer at our county fair.  Is several dollars cheaper than feed others use in this area.  Most of all, calves eat it well.

Been feeding it for about 8 years now and have never had any problems. It will work as good or better than about any feed on the market for a much cheaper price. Gene Rowe is a good guy and will answer any of your questions. If you have any specific questions let me know. Jackpot .49 for show and they now have another show feed that is even more agressive than .49 jackpot. They also carry a feed called BHG pellets. They are very economical and can be mixed with the Jackpot to lower feed bills even more.

I have been feeding it for years and calves have done better on it than any other feed I have fed.  The Jackpot is great and I also mix the pellets with the jackpot to cut the cost a little.  I recently put a heifer on the Rowe Enhance trying to get some additional weight on her for a show in December and she will now run you over to get to the feed bunk.  Great feed and I would recommend giving it a try.

My nephews calf was one of the ones in Louisville beiong fed Rowe:) this is our first year using it and we couldn't be happier. It is about $4 cheaper than Umbarger and I feel it takes less to achieve the results you are looking for.  Io will say it takes a little longer to get calves on it really good as it is drier than Umbarger but once they are on it they really do well.  Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Rowe is now coming out with a new feed called "Guts" which will be a competitor to Full Tank and the Purina pellet for bloom and fill. As far as having any issues getting calves started on it, I haven't had any noticeable problems when we switch our calves from our creep feed to the Jackpot .49. You will probably see a noticeable difference after you feed Rowe for a few weeks over some of the competitor feeds like Purina, etc.
