Dish Network channel 232 has a new agreement with Sony Entertainment that drops ALL ag related programing like Stock Show Confidential, Superior Livestock, Americas Heartland, etc.  Americas Heartland has moved to 3:30 PM Wednesdays only on RFD channel 231 (when most ag industry folks are watching ??)

The guy who decided to drop Ag related programing is: [email protected]

You'd think they'd at least show Green Acres.

Money talks and someone in their white office decided they'd make more money switching programs.

Rural tv changed it focus from udders and butts to t&a.

Perhaps they should just cut to the chase and have a channel for the recently leaked celebrity photos 24/7. Probably be the highest rated show on TV, rural or city.

On the other hand, Cheryl Ladd is a small town girl from Huron South Dakota I think.  There was pictures of her all over a diner there (maybe she worked there) when I went to the state fair to help with some cattle. I don't think the small town opportunities were in Cheryl's future. Maybe it's her with the new rfd direction as she no doubt gets residuals.

Sadly, thee probably isn't an ag demographic that appeals to enough people not in ag.

The largest by far ag demographic is Latino.

Cable sees the writing on the wall and ag is a shrinking market. It obviously has been for decades and apparently has reached an entertainment outlet lack of critical mass that is no longer supportable by commercial dollars and is being replaced by silhouette's of the female figure.
