Sales

This spring we should have our first calf crop in which we plan on selling all of our calves.  We should have 5 maybe 6 six available and was wondering what everyone thinks is the fairest way to sell them.  On a first come first serve basis and we set a price or set up a sale and set minimum bids.  We have friends that do it both ways and we hear complaints about both.  We are afraid that if we do it on a first come first serve basis then someone will get mad thinking that they should of had first pick and if we do a sale then we hear poeple complain that the prices are just getting ran up on them.  So any help or ideas is appriciated.  Thanks!
