Scarlet and Grey tips

Hello, we will be going to the Scarlet and Grey Janurary 7-9. We will be showing a steer there wich will probaly be one of the biggest ones there, last weekend he weighed 1010. If there are any tips or do's and don'ts they are welcome. Thanks, Logan

clip him down as tight as you can so he looks smaller than what he is and if it was my calf i would start to slow him down on feed unless u have an early july or late june fair 1010 is a lot for us right now our calves weight around 650-700  but our fair is not till late july
