One of our steers has terrible scours the past couple days.  Have added some fat but other steers are just fine.  Do you think it could be something else?  Is also off feed somewhat.  What do you all suggest?  Weighing about 1000 lbs. Thanks

liquid fat is hard on the digestive system.  might try backing off of it some and adding pro-bios product.

Take him off the grain, get a temp on him just to make sure he is not running a fever, hit him with pro-bios for a couple of days, give him good grass hay. If he doesn't firm up in a day or 2, I would call the vet.
If he does firm up I would slowly get him back on grain, a not put him back on the liquid fat, if he needs the fat I would try Fast Fat from Moreman's or stabilized rice bran. I think both are a pound a day up to a pound a feeding.

If the poop is really foul smelling and the steer is off his feed, he may have acidosis.  If so, he needs to go on a straight hay diet until the bacteria in his rumen are re-established.  Giving him a dose of probias or another probiotic would help as well.
