semen freezing

Anybody know up to date prices on the cost of freezing semen on a bull?

Zimmerman's in Pennsylvania have a $300.00 minimum and $2.10 per straw after 150 straws if you take the bull there. If they come to you it is so much a mile one way. It is $300.00 if the bull freezes or not. I would call them or Great Lakes for up to date pricing. Two dollars and some odd cents is the going rate, I believe.

Interglobe in IL is about $1.75 to collect and freeze at the facility.  Additional mileage if collected on the farm.

They collect Mondays and Thursdays I believe.      Not always able to collect on your chosen date.

(Hard to schedule on the farm)

Why not just give a call to the bull stud that you are planning on using to collect the semen to get it fresh from the source?

I did that thank you. I think Zimmermans are closest to me and seem reasonably priced. Just was curious what others have paid.
