I'm just curious what everyone's opinion is of semen quality these days as compared to 10-15 years ago. If your wondering why I'm asking, its because I started looking through my old herd books I have for each year. Twelve years ago my AI conception rate was right at 60%. Last year I was 90% and this year everything seems to going off without a hitch as well.
Some of this can probably be chalked up to experience and improved nutrition practices, but I was just wondering if semen quality has anything to do with it.
