I was enjoying looking through the catalog online. When I got to the back cover I had to agree with the quote posted below.  Shadybrook is one of the best places to visit for scenery, hospitality, and beautiful cattle.

I just returned from Omaha and had the Shadybrook Catalog in the mail waiting for me, looks Great!

Excellent set of cattle on offer and definitely worth the trip for the hospitality and scenery.

When I think of heaven to a Beef Cow, I think of Shadybrook.

Okotoks and I went through the Shadybrook herd in late June, and I thought then, that this was the deepest sale offering they have offered in many years. When I went through the sale catalog and viewed the videos on Youtube, I am certain it is. No matter if you are looking for a show heifer calf, bred heifers, bred cows, a young herd bull or some embryos, they have lots of good ones to pick from. They are also offering some good outcross genetics as well! I'm very much looking forward to getting down there in a couple weeks from now!

I think I have only missed one Shadybrook sale. This year it is going to seem very different without Royce Dustin being there. He was a great man and he will be missed!

i like 5,7, 9a.  15 is good too.

Lot 15 is out of a first calf heifer that I raised, Shadybrook bought her from me in the Canadian Western Agribition Sale in 2010 as a heifer calf.

Her dam, Mistress 5X was one of my favorite heifers from the 2010 calf crop. She was an ET daughter of a donor of mine, MV Trump's Misty 0128 that has been a phenomenal cow for me, and sired by Justintime's Saskvalley Pioneer that was Canadian National Champion in 2006. Sure looks like she did a heck of a job on that lot 15 calf for a first calf heifer.

I've attached a picture of Lot 15's dam, Mistress 5X at CWA when Shadybrook bought her, 5X was also a class winner that day.

I really like lot 10 and 15 but it looks like there are a lot of useful genetics to be sold.
