I'm tempted to buy one of the eZall foamers to use on my show steer. I currently just turn the shampoo bottle upside-down and spray the hose under it, but it is not very effective. My question is do you have to use the eZall shampoo in the foamer or will it work with Mane and Tail shampoo in it?

We buy the gallon jugs of shampoo at Sally's when they are on sale.  Usually 4-5$$.  They work great in the foamer.

Thanks for the quick replies :) I'll probably go pick one up tonight. How much shampoo should I put in it?

i bought one a couple years ago, great product. you can use any soap in it. i have noticed if your not careful you will go through soap fast though.

Oakiegirl, which shampoo from Sally's do you like to use?  I agree that any I have used in the eZall works fine, but don't really have a favorite, just curious what works well for you?  I agree with CAN that it does go through soap quickly if you let it, but does make a nice foam.]

Well my mom went to pick one up but instead got the Mane 'n Tail Spray-Away Sprayer. It doesn't have a trigger squeeze or anything. Anyone had experience with this sprayer? I'm thinking of taking it back and getting the right one.

I'd get the EZ all.  To moderate soap use I always mix the Total Clean soap with water in the foamer.

I like the Honey and almond Shampoo from Sally's.  I usually fill it about a 1/4 full of shampoo.  To me the Ez All shampoo doesn't make much foam, but the Sally's does.

we really like our foamer and i will agree you go through a little more soap. we use joy dish soap and get along great. we blow the calves out good then go to the washrack and use the foamer to blow the soap on them before you get them wet. you can get the soap down to there skin if they are not wet first. wet hair forms kind of a shield and hard to get the soap down and dirt out.  just my 2 cents worth
