Ok so i recently found i can not afford to purchase a blower at this time.  But i still could really use the blower to get my calves dry ontime and ready to show.  This may sound funny but when i asked my dad he said to try the shop-vac.  He uses it on his motorcycle to get it dry.  Does anyone have any ideas of if this would work in place of a blower?

We were using a shop vac for a while, it works but very time consuming. We used the shop vac and a regular hair dryer. It took use about an hour and a half to get Red dry. As soon as you can afford a Sullivan blower get one it is sooo worth it.

Convince your dad to go in with you on a cattle blower.  They work great for drying motorcycles too!  I never leave any water spots on my bike!  <rock>

Ask your dad to help you blow out your steer with the shop vac a few times and then let him use a blower.  Then wash his motorcycle and do some other nice things for him and maybe he will spring for a blower.  Or maybe find some work that pays and make some money to buy a blower.  It is a basic tool that you pretty much have to have for a cattle project.
