Here are a couple pictures of my bull calf that was born back in June. He is out of Sin City and a K-Kim Oketo cow. I posted his picture back in July I think, but he has grown a lot since then. I just want to see what everyone thought of him. What I want to know most is if he is good enough to be kept a bull. Here are a couple picture, sorry they aren't the best quality, I took them with my phone. Thank you.

Have posted a roan bull calf, Ive been given some good comments and some real grief-some from people that probably have never produced thier own cattle. A shorthorn bull-to be kept-has to be an absolute groundshaking great one-unless you keep this calf for sentimental reasons or your own use he just isnt stout enough-, and I think that you really should look at the few that do get kept, not that this one is a great one-but he is an April, and the pic was taken in August. Personally I'd like to see him bigger boned if you were to keep him a bull. I think heavy bone structure as well as the other componets are important when your end result will be him carrying 2,000 plus pounds around on him and being able to mount and breed.
We have a Sin City, KaBa bull we've had for over 4 years now. He's an easy keeper and has had some very nice calves but he definitely has a bigger bone structure.
