Maybe he would. I've only seen a few calves outta him, and last I heard, semen was kinda hard to come by.  He made some excellent calves in his first calf crop though.

just read a post by the people that owned him his is dead. they have limited supply of semen. yahoo search his name the ad come right up. you have to include shorthorn.  he is a double stuff son so is double vision he is readily available. there are so many really good shorthorn bulls to chose from.

We used Double Stuff, Double Vision, Double Down, and Double Trouble in the past, before we learned of the TH and PHA deal.  Double Trouble and Double Vision worked the best for me, Double Down a close third, and we really never had good luck with Double Stuff.  They were just small and hairy, not as much real muscle as the other bulls stamped their calves with.  I think Double Trouble is the only one of the group THF, but he might be a PHA carrier.  He downsized, but the calves still had some performance.  The calves we had by him were strong topped and fancy.

You are correct. Double Trouble is a PHA-C. I spoke to the owners via email. They did say they had no issues calving but when I cruised his progeny they had some higher bwts. Semen is $40 a straw and Top Sires usually has stock as well as Genetic Horizons.

Lucky Ralph-who is also pha-worked well for me-the cow needs to be somewhat steery though-have some KABA breeding(most shorthorns do these days). I think Free For All and Fringe will do as well on more types of cows. O0

Just had a Double Trouble born on the 12th.  Came in at 93 lbs but with no problems out of a nice size cow.  Super nice calf, lots of hair, large top and lots of bone.  Very pleased just was hoping for a heifer.

I saw a Double Trouble daughter that came from JIT's place at the Junior National in Springfield Ohio, I think that would have been around 2001?

People in texas had bought her,

She was an awesome female, a division winner there and a contender in the champion drive for sure.

I believe Catherine Williams won that year with her Flush mate to Sonny.

I have to agree with you about Fringe I really thought about using him but I already have some Double Trouble in the tank.
