Impressive spread.  I have a march born calf that was very little whem born, similar weight, and he will be a more moderate made calf.  Not getting that much performance(in the form of size) from him as of right now, lbs. are coming.  The calf looks real good.  I was always impressed with his daddy for a more commercial type bull, guess that's why the spread is so good.  Good to hear.

Versatile's sire is Ar Su Lu Tonic.  Yes, he was creep fed.  His mother is a great milker as well.

Nice looking bull prospect!  I really appreciate his BW in correlation with his weaning.

Thanks for the nice compliments on our daughter's calf. We have been pleased, as he has come on very well. We do not raise purebred shorthorns for a living, although have stayed close and worked with several for fifty years or so. He is not a great bull, this I know, but he is a damn good bull that alot of purebred and commercial cattlemen could use. We are going to try and sell him in the Wisconsin State Association Bid -Off on Nov. 1st. at the grant County fairgrounds in lancaster, Wisc. If anyone could use a young bull for next springs breeding season, here he is, no gimmicks,no fancy camera work, just a honest pictured, sound, good doing, easy feeding, gentle bull calf looking for a new home.

Nice calf. His looks and pedigree seem like he was made to show. Does the Junior Shorthorn Assoc Have a bred and Owned Bull division? Since your not keeping him I hope he sells good for your daughter.

We hope he sells too, but for the sake of the sale, since it is the inaugural. He will go to the Iowa Royal Shorthorn show and sale at the Iowa Beef Expo in February if he dosen't sell.
