Lot 1 is something else I would like to see what he would do on powerful set of angus cows. He should make some serious feeding cattle.

The lot 2 Lincoln Red looks interesting to me. Approx what would be his frame score-3.6 WDA I like this dude O0

Mark, Did you notice his BMI number? It is 150.80. I don't know that I have ever seen one that high. The 1/2 Lincoln Red bull we are using is sure doing a good job for us and definite calving ease.

There are only a couple Lincoln Red deals anyone knows about- The Hill Haven Bold Bull of Cagwins who just has done a bangup job and covered the bases-including some extremely clubby Monopoly x the wrong kind of  super hi BW Shorthorn cows that Gargans Brother bought from a long time breeder also in Tenn. AND-GB Daybreak Express-he came out about 20 years ago and is still in regular use. There were MANY calves out of oldschool clubby CHI -and composite cows out of him for YEARS-along with the Double Visions, Windstars, Stuffs, Suds you name it-especially up north DUE to the calving ease-but they also had some quality-and there is yet another recent promotion bull out of a daughter available-he was owned by Werning Simms and although the Shorts became simms-he was (maybe still) used for many years too.JMO_Lincoln Reds just cover the bases better than anything right now-especially as thick as they are -as easy fleshing-and as EASY CALVING-How can lot 2 not be the stoutest biggest butted most balanced bull in that sale? O0

Thanks for all the interest, and last but not least here is Lot 17-

lot 2 went to Martindale farms CF Martin and sons KY-Real good bunch-They have probably the best cattle that get the least amount of credit in Shorthorns- THEY USED 3 BULLS FROM Mark Mueller- DMCC Vintsge-a RWM full sib to LTd Edition, DMCC Enticer-who really did a bang up on Shorthorns and like Vintage was very EZ calving in the day-lotta good calves several good sires and DMCC (I Forgot) out of a maine cow and AF Ultimate Warrior-Id be scaried to death of him-he also had Maine on the cow side from Millbrooke Ransom 2975 I think the Martins knew as soon as they saw this bull hed work on thiers-he will work on maines gangbusters-JMO
