Bred our Shorthorn to Dr. Who and had a 100+ lb bull calf ( mild asst), marked exactly like his mom. These pics are when he was one day old. He was born beginning of Jan, will clip him soon and will post new pics, very excited about this one :) the pic of him next to the black calf is also a Dr. Who that was 15 days older than him, he too is a nice calf.

We had a Dr. Who X Double Stuff PB shorty a few years ago and your calf reminds me a lot of him. Cow stepped on him and messed up his back but boy did he grow.  Was as thick and hairy a calf as I've had.

Good Luck!

LOL... Thanks. the most bone we've ever had,  and the thing is he has continued to explode, lots of hair , very thick. Totally different from her past calves, a little surprised at his color, thought for sure he would be a blue roan, but doesn't look like his color is changing. The other Dr. Who has decent bone, but not like his....

Thanks :) The black calf at birth weighed around 60lbs and in this pic is 15 days older, It's hard to see how much bigger he is compared to the other one unless you see them in person, we had to guess on weight, but I have to say it's the biggest we've had born here, we have pulled quite a few and he was by far much larger, and it took both me and my husband to pick him up. The dam is a PB Shorthorn from Diamond M Shorthorns, a great show heifer in her past and an excellant mother. TMG Foundation on her sires side and DMS Elizabeth is her Dam. Can't wait to clip him out, and he seems like he is going to have a great personalty :), should make my daughter a good steer and an even better rug ;)
