Those are really interesting pictures.
There is some good history here and I would like to learn more about where and when someone would have been crossing these lines of cattle. The 1920's Shorthorn World's are full of ads for Scotch cattle, and there is a Milking Shorthorn section in each one with animals of the general character of the deep, feminine milking cows.
Their heads and the delicate forward pointing horns remind me of pictures of an old breed, Albion Blue. They were a blend of South Wales cattle and Shorthorns that were around in Great Britain in the 20's. The War probably finished them. Some are still around, but they are not quite the same.
