Should blackdiamond, aka kfacres being allowed back on? POLL - VOTE HERE

Originally known as kfacres, and now as blackdiamond, this user was banned indefinitely as he was warned over and over to clean up his act. The ip address ban only works so long, before a new ip address is obtained our a new connection is used. I put the vote to the member of SP to decide his fate.

Temporary solution, can't ban ip ranges because it effects other users, but banning individual ip's seems fairly effective in the short-term.

I didn't want to say anything about that. But people should know we have at least two or three "REPORT POST" from blackdiamond aka Jody a day. Most reports are tied to his post when ANYTHING negative is posted on the thread.I have gotten to where I ignore them.
I also had banned at 12 different names he uses tied to the same ip addresses. The personal messages and personal emails to the point you have to block someone because they are so hateful and nasty is pretty pathetic. ITs a message board and to be stalked by someone off the site is sad.

Rookie.

-One kid called 71 times while my wife was in the hospital with our first. I only know because the call blocker counted them.
-BBB complaint because a virtual horse didn't win a virtual race. Actually accused the FBI of being involved in it.
-Had over a dozen pizzas delivered to my house three days straight
-Realtor shows up at my house because some guy tried to put it on the market
-Cursed out by a 70+ year old man because he thought the dogs on our game were real
-One guy used a voice modifier (he knew I'd recognize his voice) pretending to be an attorney with a court order that I let him play the game again
-It got so bad with one kid that I actually told him I'd shoot him if he went through with his threat to show up

That's all from people banned for cheating or harassing other users on the games. None of it related to the blog.

If it weren't for the full blown crazies, there wouldn't be enough half crazies to keep community sites running.

Maybe I am among the lucky few to not get this negativity mentioned by others, however, I also see a different side of things when it comes to whatever screen name you want to choose.

The way I see it, yes he does talk junk, no doubt. With that said, I feel that some of the adults on this board are acting like a bunch of flipping teenagers (no insult to the younger members of the board). It seems to me that it is alright for them to start stuff in these posts, but when the crap starts flying back at them, Jody becomes this horrible person. Is he over the top, yes, but who isn't in this industry? I mean this seriously. We all take this game we play very seriously, and forbid calling each other out on things. For those who say it is bullying, call it out and leave it at that. I am not the type to call people out by name on here, but I definietly feel there are a couple who don't like him, so in their mind he should be gone, and until then, they will not stop feeding him enough rope to hang himself.

I say let him stay, he does bring a very interesting viewpoint to the table, maybe some folks need to learn how to ignore it if they don't like it instead of feeding the troll.

I am all for a good debate over a difference in opinions, but the deal is a little too much, He NEVER has anything positive to say to anyone. Thinking differently is fine, but changing your point of view for topic to topic, just for the sake of arguement, is not helpful or positive in anyway. I would support his different point of view, IF he had the same point of view every day, but he changes his stance with every post.

Again, I don't see this. It all goes back to if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. He shouldn't be banned because people don't like his opinion. Whether it changes every post or not. in my opinion, his puddle jumping makes me think he is a bit ignorant to some of the ACTUAL issues faced by cattlemen of all natures. i find it hard not to read his negativity because he posts on some many threads, i would hope that you educate yourself on the political issues facing us all before you form an opinion, and if he is willing to do the same with the threads on here, then he should by all means stay,but mindless negativity is not needed

I guess at the end of day most on SP know the nature of Jody. He is almost always negative and quite happy to slam anyone whether it is justified or not. He is very seldom complimentary of animals posted but hates it when anyone criticizes his animals even when they have not been fed, presented or have bad photos.(of course his animals have excuses he doesn't allow others to have) He talks the talk but when he posts his animals he doesn't appear to be walking the walk. As Knabe points out if he has time to be on SP he probably could be checking the pen to AI. I think Jody just likes fighting on public forums, being negative and rude while trying to get people to like his ever changing program. I know he sent disgusting PM's to one of my friends and I'm sure he does it to others. I also question from some of his posts if he has any compassion for livestock and is actually cruel by neglecting their needs. That alone would make him banned if I was the one deciding. He was banned for a reason and I think Jason and/ or the moderators should decide if he returns. Coming back on uninvited and then complaining about his treatment is a bit rich. Every time Jody returns his posts are so recognizable he can be The Truth, Cut The BS, KF Acres etc. etc. and it's easy to see he just plans on continuing where he left off. It's a bit sad really because I think he could be a positive contributor if he showed a bit of respect for fellow members.
I'm sure free speech will come up but if he needs to he could start his own blog! He would have followers and I'm not sure what that says about human nature ???

He just never should have been back really. He was given multiple chances and it was a lot more than just bring brash with his opinions. I warned him over and over, that I had no problem with his opinions, but showing respect toward other members.

I will let it run a little while longer, but I think the majority is speaking.

It is a bit of a balancing act, I don't want to be to harsh, but I certainly don't want one individual causing other members not to join or be a part of a topic. This poll was to be make sure I was inline.

I have visited with Jody a couple of time and the negativity doesn't come through in a one on one conversation. I think that he does it just to get what he has called the "Triangle Trio" to fight with him, although it seems that it gets completely carried away and it ends up in a train wreck most of the time. Jody has some good opinions and ideas, and when he is not being negative I enjoy reading what he has to offer, I just wish that he would keep the negativity to a minimum because I do enjoy his opinions most of the time, not that I agree with him on every occasion but that is why I enjoy the comment is that he makes me take a look in maybe a different perspective.

So I vote to keep him.

Jason, All I know is that I wouldn't do what you do for any amount of money! We support your decisions regardless. There is usually so much more to these situations than what we see in the forum.
