Should blackdiamond, aka kfacres being allowed back on? POLL - VOTE HERE

Well, I'm new here on SP, also live in other country, so my opinion can not be so heavy for some people. Not wish be on one or another side for vote for ban him, only wish write a little.
After start reading this topic, go back to look my "personal contact" with blackdiamond. He never was aggressive with me, even in contradictory views we had.
I think, under my 41 years old, that people have different views, this is not a problem....the real problem is when people use those differences to start fights, and many....I'm sure that many people not accept as well these views are contraries their causes. Some people are flexible with this and keep a good discussion, showing the base for such ideas, some people no!
I don't know how far he was not friendly with some, but as some already explained, he has contributed to this site, unfortunately some times, with bad opinions as well.
Thank you and wish all participants can maintaim mutual respect in a high level discussions.

I think that there is something to be said for people who are upfront about who they are.....real name and etc.. I remember a couple years back when it was discovered that jamiediamond was okytoks daughter and thunder down under was jammies best friend and frostbite was an aquaintance. They had a hell of a tag team deal running there once upon a time. I see both sides. Its a headache to have these discussion boards.....I think people kicking different ideas around is pretty awsome.

I think deep down if it was me this post was about I'd learn something. Lord knows I've been the most arrogant know it all walkin. Life has a way of showing one the ropes sooner or later. The harder you try to move forward life won't let you until you are ready. I can see why thunder feels the way she does. Those are harsh words. I've said stuff like that lots of time when I felt mad or challenged. Let him stay. I voted for him. Different ways of thinking are good. He is still looking for direction. His theories seem sound to me. Random but valid most times.  I hope he can tones it down a bit. I hope those pushing his buttons do to. I've tried to stay positive on here lately but I'm still going to call it like I see it.


Show the youth the way. Don't kick them aside. No matter how much you want to. Take the high road. I'll help him any chance I can.

And aj, enough with the stories. You are the one who created that conspiracy theory. There was never any attempt made to hide our relationships to each other.

I was trying to think of the name of the one thread......where I figured it out........couple years ago.

I voted to allow him to stay.......that was before I read the names he called a woman. You can't tolerate that under any circumstances. You can't tolerate being rude to kids.  I have not the first problem with his opinions on cattle no matter how far out there they are. Intentionally allowing heifers to be bred at 12 months borders on abuse. There are people that I know that used to post that won't post at all and so don't frequent the board as often as they did due to the few bad apples that frequently cause trouble. So I think the view that those that cause controversy also ad viewers is a poor one. You have no way to measure how many people it keeps away.  I view this as a community and a privilege to participate here rather than a right. So I believe there is a certain level of behavior required in order to stay in the community. I'd vote for a line in the sand that said no more, or its permanent.

Being new here, I read all the posting on this poll. I don't know him but you do so the if he stays or goes remember that he probably won't change. We need to forgive those who wrong us and repeat as often as need, don't take thing to seriously, this world is only temporary. The forum might mark users as adult or minor, not everybody knows everybody here, an info is hiddens, but that's no reason to be mean or disrespected to anyone. We reap what we sew. We choose to answer posts, and maybe should think about it, before rushing with guns blazing. The decision we make today effects us tomarrow. Satan come from everywhere including family,friends and forums. So If he stays stop complaining about the way he is you already know it.

I have lurked on this board for years. Seen some good people leave because of meanness and threats.  I have seen "gang mentality" or "chicken yard picking" when someone bad mouths someone else.  Most of those people are still on here. That being said, people who are just flat degrading and disrespectful have NO PLACE on a public forum.

Maybe you should also consider banning people who are not show they say they are. Ex. "a breeder for 30+ years" when in fact, they have only owned cattle for 10 years, and never in their own name, or "clipped at national champion shows" when in fact they MAYBE attended one.

Ban the mean, degrading, and disrespectful.  They have no place on a forum where the general public can judge an industry by their mean ways.

I say ban him for good.  I think the language and bullying are completely uncalled for on this forum.  There are a lot of younger members and I don't care to have my kids exposed to that.    On the other hand, I ignore most of his posts because they are of no interest to me.

I say as black diamond he should be banned. If he wants to return he should do so as KFAcres thru an appeal to Jason.I don't have a dog in this fight but in general if your banned then in no way should you be allowed back under a different  user name. Obviously you would have to make commitments to Jason to change behaviors that Jason felt the need to ban you for in the first place and if you can't change your original behavior then no since coming back as anyone.

I have read every post on this thread and not going to vote either way, thais is Jasons and the other moderators call. Being disrepectful to anyone is uncalled for. If you don't like his post don't read them, you can figure who he is based on his comments, he's probably not going to change much if he's been warned over and over again. I read pleanty of post on here, I believe he's not the only one that can be rude or disrespectful, most cattlemen, farmers and ranchers and those that show mostly have a thicker skin then the general public. (Maybe thats more me, my wife say's if I have feelings they are in my big toe.)  Like Bilmar said we have to forgive, but that being said he would want to change.

I totally agree with all the comments made about the guy adding to the conversations at times with some insite and a different perspective that many of us can benafit from learnig about other views and experiences.  I may be differnet than others in that it makes it VERY hard for me to listen to much less actually learn anything from someone that expresses himself like he does.  I have NO respect for people like him, that are rude to others and belittle those around this board.  I often wonder if there is any well thought out ideas or if it is just immature blabber and spontanious reaction instead of real experiences and insite.  I find that I learn much more by listening to those around me than by just running my mouth.  I have  learned a ton from those out there that a willing to give advise and not tell me that there way is the only way.  I enjoy an aspect of this business that some of you do not agree with, but I learn far more from those of you that are doing things differently than I do when they are respectful to what I do as well.  I appriciate a good one no matter what it is used for.  I think there is soooooo much wrong with the show ring end of the deal, but it's what I enjoy doing.  It's just a hobby for me, just having fun.  I don't see any reason why I can't have a little fun.

Supporting the youth is what will keep griculture and te beef business (show ring or not) alive. Being a jerk to them will not help. He's a cancer.

Insightful people aren't easily 'chased' away.

Ive had a couple words with Jody on here quite a while back,  the best being when he told me my bull calf should be cut!  Well i returned fire and told him maybe he should have been cut ! I still laugh about it,  but after that we got along fine ! The man has a backbone as do i and i respect that!  He had all his contact info right out where it could be seen by all,  he wasn't hiding. I have no idea what he has done to others in pms or anything but i voted let him stay. No disrespect to the anti Jody group on here, if he has caused you greif then you have your reasons.

Yep that was another one.

So is he banned? He is my friend. I get frustrated with him sometimes but he is still my friend. I gave him a small piece of advise long ago and he sure took it and ran. I think in the future once he gets more experience with his own cows he will really turn into a good cattleman. The pieces are all there. Just some maturity and direction are still needed.


Btw, do a lot of folks report to moderator? I've never done that. I personally prefer to fight my own fights. I'm not a tattle tale. The stuff annoys the hell out of me.

all those usernames were from the same account.  I didn't know it was breaking the rules by changing user name, figured if it was- it wouldn't have been allowed by the system.
