I know I'm on the wrong Forum, but nobody reads Lamb Chat. If the granddaughter didn't have 2 lambs, I wouldn't either! LOL  I'm in the east where lots of great brands are not available. Been feeding Kent Show lamb 18%. Fair results. What's better? How about Purina Lamb Chow? Opinions please. Thanks for being tolerent.

Wemix Honor's  Show Chow in with our own mix of feed.(which consists of 2/6 oat, 2/6 corn, 1/6 show chow, 1/6 afalfa pellets, That's for our breeding sheep. For our market/show  lambs we feed Starmaster. But what you feed them also depends on how old they are and when your going to show them... She's going to show them right??

Well I don't think you should have problems using Starmaster on full feed. Once you get to a close weight that your comfortable with then you can cut back on the amount. Star master is a little expensive but it is the best feed we have ever used and we have tried just about it all!! :) But your lambs seem to be a little smaller than ours.. at 40 lbs put them on StarMaster Lamb stage 1 . Once you hit like 70 -100 lbs then feed Starmaster pre- Show Lamb,  Then finally once they get to be 100lbs and up feed Starmaster Show Lamb until the end!  If you need anymore help just ask! I hope I helped!
Good Luck!!! :)

Our local feed store orders it in for us. But sometimes you can get it from a local farmer that sells it.

Depending on what part of the east you are from, Umbarger usually has pretty good representation on dealers.

They have a great line of lamb feeds, pretty popular as well. Look them up.
