Show Steer not gaining weight (suggestions)

We're going to try hosing him down, rubbing down his legs and keep more fans on him with misters attached and try the other feed with the fat. Going down there later to check and feed again, feeding him when it's cooler as well. Ill get another picture or two. Thank you and I will keep you updated. We weighed him today again and he was at 690lbs. Weighed before he ate and after he was worked.

Is the steer getting some exercise at night when cool? Maybe a long walk real early in the morning, not a run just a casual stroll.

He walks thirty minutes every morning then gets a bath, he's turned out all night.

Is his stool normal?

Yes, he is normal about everything. Here's another picture (him actually eating. The steer behind him is a 900 lbs angus that's about 6 inche taller.

Well then I got nothing. He looks healthy and well cared for, just not a good doer. Try the feed changes suggested and good luck.
