I wanted to invite everyone to a showmanship fitting clinic on May 21,2011 at Bentonville Arkansas.  I have attached the flyer.  Plus the cattlemen is going to provide dinner for early entry and thier families.

Will,
I see you're not getting replies, so I'll be the one to start.  I hope the Clinic and Show goes well.  Is it a new show, or a repeteing date each year?  I looked over the Flyer, and have a couple of suggestions for changes you might make for next year.

1.  Post your payouts on the flyer.  If 100% (or whatever % it may be) payback of entry, state it.  Supreme Champ $500, and so on.
2.  Something we do at a show I help with is give a $5 bill to each exhibitor as they leave the ring.  For all those who don't end up in the money, this small gesture creates a great spirit of Goodwill.
3.  To help draw a crowd for your Clinic, have a Free Hamburger Fry right before.  Local Banks are always willing to bring their cookers, and foot the bill.

My two daughters' families live in Bentonville and Springdale.  They both did a great deal of Showing when they were in school, and would probably bring their kids to watch some of the Show if they don't already have other plans.  I'll let them know about it.  Good Luck!

Thanks for helping the Kids!!

Thank you for the comments.  I think I took on a little more than I anticipated.  The local cattlemen is feeding everyone and thier family that participate in the clinic dinner after the clinic.  We have about $500 plus entries to pay back in the show.  We have t shirts for everyone who pre enters ( so I know what sizes to get).  We have put togather really cool prizes for all of the breed and reserve breed champion.  Plus more prizes for grand and reserves.  Would you rather have more paid out to the champions or have more of the prize money paid out into the classes?  We have a great newer facility.  This is the first time we have had the show, so it has been a learn as we go deal.  I know I will make several changes to the flyer before next year.  Any advice would be appreciated.

We had 186 Entries this year and paid out almost $9000 in Cash and Prizes.  We sell sponsorships for $500 each which entitles them to an Ad in the program, a Banner, and a 12'X12' Display.

That is really great.  I have had a very difficult time getting any one to help financiallyl.  I have about $1500.  I think it being the first year has made it tougher.  Have your kids come and be sure to tell them to look me up.
