Shows

I'm looking for some open shows in or around Iowa. Does anyone know of any coming up? Thanks

There is a good size junior show in Norfolk, Neb the weekend of thanksgiving. Right now Iowa is pretty quiet til Beef Expo in Feb.

Norfolk Thanksgiving weekend.  I believe heifers show Friday and market on Saturday.  Decent sized show but payback is reallly, really low if that is important to you.

Badger Kick-off is very big and usually the first weekend in December.  It is at the Wisconsin State Fairground in Millwaukee.  Great show.

Lincoln has had a show in the past usually the next weekend.  But so far haven't seen anything about it.  May not happen this year.

I believe there is something called the Black and Gold blowout or something like that in Missouri in Dec. or early Jan.  Never been there and don't have details.

In Jan., Sioux Falls has another relatively big show.  It is part of the Sioux Empire Farm Show.
