We have a built right pb simmental heifer, we are considering using style on this heifer. In your opinion would he be heifer safe. Thanks

My opinion would be not to use him on heifers. We have had some pretty big calves out of him. They are usually plenty block shaped and wide through the the thurl/rump region as well at birth. We have not had a problem using Silveiras Watchout on heifers. He is a BC Lookout son out of Style's full sister.
PVF Insight might be a consideration. True calving ease and very clean fronted.

Thanks for the opinions. We really would like a half blood as her first calf any other bulls on the angus side we should consider we would like something that would produce a show animal, hopefully.

SAV Brilliance, PVF Insight, Bushs Unbelievable, Dameron First Impression are a few.

DDA Dameron Northern Light deserves a good look if the show ring is what you have in mind. He is a Brilliance son out of a beautiful Northern Miss female. He is very closely related to First Impression.

We used style on the Built Right heifer and we had a heifer that came 7 days early. Weighed 65- 70 lbs and came unassisted.

I would suggest you give slider a look. He has worked very well on multiple breed matings and the quality of his calves have been outstanding.  He is a double bred northern improvement on a duff new edition. Very heifer safe at +18 ced. You can pm me if you have any questions or would like to see some pictures, video, etc.

Give SAC Conversation a look.  I've had 4 calves sired by him this fall and none over 72 lbs.  He has good numbers and I'm really happy with my calves.  Saw some good one sired by him in KC a few weeks ago too.

Was going to try Conversation on a couple heifers after having a 58# heifer out of a Silveiras Style cow (279 days), real cutie. BUT, the dam of the Style cow calved a 92# heifer (289 days), a couple days later. Conversation's epds look like they would work, but his genomic scores put him in the 66 percentile for CED, and 88 percentile for BW. Think I'll wait a bit before using him on heifers, but sure was tempting after having the little one. Were the 4 you got heifer or bull calves? I sure like both these heifer calves.

3 heifers and 1 bull. Unfortunately lost one of the heifers though due to a freak injury.  The restof the calves are growing good and both heifers have a super good look to them.

GCC Gold Standard.  Got a heifer calf out of one of my first calf heifers this year out of GCC Gold Standard.  May be the best heifer calf that I have ever had out of a first calf heifer.  Nice front end.  Feminine.  Good Structured.  Good on her feet and legs.  Should give you some extra depth of body.
Plus, He is NOT A RAZOR like so many other angus bulls. (lol)
