Just had a nice baldie heifer calf out of the Simmy Bull Meant to Be. Calf is out of a Northern Improvement Cow, probably weighed 65-70lbs

This is a Meant 2 Be bull calf. Pic taken at 2 days old. His dam is an Amen x The Golden Child. He would be TH & PHA Free by pedigree.

Would "Meant to Be" be considered a calving ease and safe bull to use on first calf angus heifers?

With the Broker in his blood I'd be nervous.  Much better prospects out there than that.

I'm with Winter Springs on that one.  The Brokers can be pretty big.  I think most are usually over 85 lbs.  The Diamond in the pedigree with help keep that consistently lower, not sure how he got an 11 for CED.  King of Diamonds or Hammertime would be heifer safe, I know Jones has used both on heifers with good results.  If you can get it their other bull Cinderella Man would be a good option as well.

It says his BW is 0.6 in the Top Sires Catalog and our heifers are PB angus and seem to never have calving problems. I was really hoping I could use him on heifers thanks for the feed back I'll have to look into it and see if anyone has had problems or success with him on heifers!
