What Simmental Bull is a good choice to flush to an Angus Cow to create show heifers?
We had a nice cow that we would like to try making some half bloods.
The Angus Cow won her class at Junior Nationals so she is a nice cow sired by PVF ALL Payday out of a Saugahatchee dam.

I have researched a lot of the simmentals and as far as a showing goes it is still pretty hard to beat the consistency of Dream On. Others that come highly recommended are WS a Step Up, One Eyed Jack, NLC Upgrade, and 3C Macho. There are a ton of half blood simmys that will produce show cattle one of my favorites is Sheriff Taylor.  Hope this helps.

Mr HOC Broker is one of the best bulls on the market in my opinion. I would highly recommend him, just based on my personal  experience. I think that bandwagon is going to produce some really showy calves. Also, Pays to Believe, Grandmaster, Chopper, and Combustible would be good ones to look at too.

I have used Sheriff Taylor and liked the calves, but their dispositions are a question.

Id go maximus. Very hairy calves and the daughters can then go simmy or clubby. They're extremely versatile

We showed a halfblood heifers last fall that was out of a purebred angus cow by Lock N Load. I have heard of a few people having success using him on purebred simmy cows.

This is a photo of the cow.  She has produced some very nice show heifers by Hot Rod, EXAR Blue Chip, & Style.
We just wanted to create some half-bloods for showing.
We are planning on selling some embryos in the Frozen Gold Sale and putting some in ourselves.
Thanks

Very nice cow! It looks like you could have many options with her. I think you could use any of Broker, Combustible, Fat Butt, Steel Force or Uprising. Also like the looks of the new combustible son FBF1 Ignition.

Thanks for the opinions.  I am leaning toward Broker, Combustible, Steel Force, and Chopper.
Would like to use sexed semen if possible.  I don't know how much interest there would be in half-blood bulls.
