I just bought some sin city semen from a friend.  He has several really great looking cows out of him. What does everyone else use him one to get good ones.  Besides his i havent seen any others by him.

From my experience he is really hit and miss. I have had best results with ohlde bred smaller framed type.  His Calves are moderate for the most part but will throw some over 100 every now and then.  Sullivans have had luck breeding him to a TC bred cow you can look her up on their website.  Goodluck.

Masonic Homes in PA ended up with walking rights on Sin City. You could visit with Frank a little. He covered cows a long while  there. I thought sin city was the full brother to Vegas ? More of a craze for Vegas I guess.

Sin CIty is the clean version of Vegas. Sin City when bred to smaller made cows does have some birth weight. When he came out I talked to Brad H about his birth weights. We had the big one's. the calves were taller made, hairy and had some bone. Watch the female you use him on BW. Sullivan's used Vegas to make all those plus females. When you use him on taller flatter made cows, it seems he follows the cows and you will get rangey flatter made cattle.

Back in 07 I Holleys had a super nice Sin City shorthorn plus heifer that Hale farms showed. I would have to say OH Breeder is right, sin city kind of follows the type of cow you use.
