I know guys who are excited about the females despite the Heatewave. Heard he works great on a LOT of different cows.

Kroupa said in the Sweetheart Catalog that he breeds more like his dam (Flush daughter) than his sire (Heatwave) i would assume that means breed him like you would Flush genetics

I've only had 2 and they were both heifer calves. They were far smaller than HWs that I have had. Both were in the 70s. The calves that I have seen are all patterned similar. The heifers  have a feminine look to them. The Miss Perfection cow was a very feminine looking cow. We will get a pic up when we get one taken of Sailing On. Another Smooth Sailing bull that is being promoted by Burrow's Bulls is Purple Passion. Have a cousin that calves approx. 100 hd/year & kept 8/9 heifers this year as replacements, 5/6 of them were Smooth Sailing heifers B/C they look the part. Very impressive set of clubbie bred replacements. We'll see how they milk next summer.
