Some of our bulls, and a steer :-)

Thought I would update some photos of our bulls.
The first two is our purebred bull by Dominator (Shoal Creek red bull) and out of our good Bling cow. He is a March. My daughter is looking forward to showing him this summer. He weighs about 1100 pounds right now.

The next two pics are of our November Rendition calf. He has lots of white! Notice the rings on the back feet? His dam is a Westfall Crossfire cow.

I will add more....

I like the bull he has kind of a maine look to him,clean fronted ,square hipped.

The next three is our 3/4 blood Mo Better October bull calf out of the cow in my avatar, a Macho half blood that won South Central Regionals in 2009. She is a cow I picked up at the Exposure sale a few years ago.

The last one was a bull, but we cut him and are raising him as a steer for our fairs out here. He is a purebred, by Dominator (so half sib to the other bull pictured) and out of a Shear Force first calf heifer. He is an April 2nd calf, and is already at over 1200 pounds!

So, what do you think??? We added three more bulls this spring, but still a little early to tell how they will turn out. Two are embryos (out of three embryos this spring, only one was a heifer!)

looks like they are doing great.  I really like the fall calf.

Some good looking cattle. Like the bull and the steer looks to have lots of grow once they start going out instead of up will be very impressive.  (thumbsup)

Thanks Freddy! White faced bulls sell great around here  ;D Here are some updated photos taken today:

The first is our Rendition bull, a November. We clipped all that hair off him tonight, so he looks funny! Right now he is on my cut list, only because he just does not have enough butt for me. He has the best set of EPD's out of all my bulls this season 

The second photo is our October Mo Better 3/4 blood out of the cow in my avatar photo. He looks broken behind his shoulders, but he is not. We just had our first halter breaking session and then clipped him out so he was really tired and it is hot today. He is REALLY thick, and could easily make a great show steer if someone wanted. We are keeping him a bull for now, and unless someone wants to buy him and steer him he will probably stay that way. Another white faced bull  ;D

The third pic is our embryo mid February bull calf by Triple C Invasion on the halter for the first time. He is a chunk, and has blue eyes, thus called Skyler. He has the best personality; we just walked right up to him and put the halter on no problems! He is staying a bull for now, and if he continues growing like he is will remain a bull. Not bad for $100 embryo, huh? Registered purebred out of a blackfoot cow, and I have 3 more embryos in the tank!

The last two are our March purebred by STF HR Dominator. Great set of EPD's and awesome attitude. My daughter is looking forward to showing him this year  ;D His dam has a awesome Fat Butt calf on her side this year...
