He does not seem to be throwing much white on the face, huh? I just got my Lockdown, and forgot to get some Red Revolver.... maybe next order. Thanks for keeping us up to date on pictures.

For being a full faced baldy, is not throwing as much white on the faces as i anticipated. About 70% have been solid faced. Appreciate your interest!

Looking good so far! I'm also surprised about the amount of white!

Thanks guys for the compliments. And yes wintersprings, im convinced now that he is a true calving ease sire. Out of about 30 reports I have gotten, I know of one calf that was pulled out of a freaky made yellow jacket hfr. That calf is doing fine but did have to be pulled. I bred this stout made 3/4 broker hfr to him last week with confidence.

Hey Gargan how are these guys looking now?
Better than we could have imagined. Hes adding style and great structure to his calves. Semen sales have gotten better each year through cattle visions . Here's his mature video link
As well as a son of his

Thanks they look great! Have you seen the red loaded up heifer on Griswold's Facebook page? I could find a home for her. I will have to use some RR next spring loaded up is out of my price range.

Pretty impressive bull, love the mature video.  Seems like there are a lot of full sibs to him, but he seems to be maintaining his soundness as he ages.  I hope the lease goes well for you guys too, going to the right herd could really help his sales.  Great pedigree for real world functionality and fancy enough for the show ring.  Phenotype sells....

Thank you for the kind words.  I know we will never get him as popular as some of the big named breeders bulls but we've been blessed so far with his usage. If he never sells another straw , I will be satisfied with what hes done for us. Thanks again.
