This is our January, 2013 Belted Galloway bull calf we are developing into our next herd bull.
He weighed 73 pounds at birth and 676 actual at 205 days.  Out of a 14 year old cow.
He is moderate in frame (about a 4.5) and now weighs about 750-775 at 8 months.
We showed him at the Midwest Classic Show in July where he was Calf Champion.
He is shown here under blow and go conditions.

I know Belties are not very common, but folks who own them, love them.

What are your thoughts on him as a show bull and breeding prospect?

Thank you-

My older bull weighs well over 2000 pounds most of the time.  He's about a frame 6.

This bull's sire weighed about 1900 in April at age three on corn stalks. He's a 5-5.5 frame.
The cow about 1250-1300 and 4-5 frame.
