I'm no scientist but I am capable of critical thinking, there are around 7 billion people on this planet and if you think they have 0% impact on the environment I think you are choosing to turn a blind eye to the issues.  Please do not read that as "I want more regulation and government involvement in what we do out here".  There are steps we take everyday on our ranch to ensure sustainability for generations to come.

A few options are open to those concerned about the environment.

Sterility of both of themselves and of undesirables as advocated by Margaret Sanger and most progressives since president Wilson.

Another more aggressive and effective tool would be mass suicide but of course that only applies if it's someone else proving they aren't interested in saving the environment.

Soylent green and rationing health care are two other.

I don't remember it but they tell me there used to be a glacier where I live.  I wonder what happened so that it melted? I am guessing things warmed up. I am glad it did.  I think 7 billion people probably do have some impact and I agree there are things that we can do along the lines of sustainability.
