Last year my son bought a nice bred angus cow from a herd dispersal. It was his first purchase to start his own herd. He got a nice lookin'  WAF Zorzal bull calf off of her. This fall she came in open after having many chances with the bull and AI. He was crushed. I asked him what he wanted to do and after a couple of days he said, he wanted to sell her, and by another bred heifer or cow. So we went shopping. After getting some help from a friend who sent us in the right direction, we ended up buying this bred heifer at a sale. She is due to calf end of February.

I saw her at the Keystone sale when you purchased her.  She's smaller framed for sure, but she's real pretty.  The Bismarck calf will be good for a first calf.  I would look to breed a little more performance into her next time around, personally.

She is a smaller framed and very pretty. Personally we like to have a bit more performance as well. He looked at your bred heifer as well. He was also very interested in Brookmore's heifers. They were a little above his price range.  ;) Met some really nice folks at the sale.
