Jason's post got me to thinking. Could we start a SP brand board? I mean, for some it might be tough to post it up, but maybe take a picture of your brand and post it or type out your brand. It would be cool to see all the different brands cattle wear.
Mine is:

MYT

Imagine that.  :D

Cool!  Do you ever get Inspected?  Do you have to before you leave the area?  (clapping)

Sold my Colorado brand years ago -- but it was a good one -- got lucky findingit available in 1989.

M -_-   ( Can't type it correctly here) It was actualy M quarter circle holding! One iron - electric, made a beautiful brand on the right rib.

Ended up selling it 6 years later for 5 times what I bought it for -- figured it was too good to say no!

Some REALLY good cows had that brand on them inthe 90's -- the great-great grandmother to everything I own now was one of them! HeeeHawww

Fortunately the only inspection I've ever had was by a young lady! I do have half of the real thing on my left shoulder - Backed up against it while we were branding heifers, Note to self - don't hang an electric iron on a gate and forget about it. RW

I'm not too good at drawing with the keyboard letters but it represents the Tetons as I got the brand when I lived in Jackson, WY.  The 'D' is a little bigger and the peaks are a little more spread on the real iron.  It's a one iron with the way the electric iron was made.  It goes on the left hip on cattle and on the right hip on a horses.  It's registered in the State of Wyoming.

Lotta neat brands! I'll make it a point to brand a board of some sort and then  post the picture of what my actual brand looks like. This should be a good thread to have going as people start branding. Take pics of a fresh stamped calf and post it up!
