This is our first heifer we bought and her third calf which is now a steer.  They are both SHorthorn plus but sure could qualify color wise for  a speckle park. I am always interested on learning about the different breeds.

Throttle and many others are extremely striking in the flesh. and they stay sound. The young cattlehave plenty of hair as far as i have seen

We used to have a few cows that looked allot like those cows and they were half Longhorn and half Amerifax - interesting how different breeds can be mated and still come out with similar looks.

Here is a animal I was talking about looking like the Speckle Parks.  This animal is probably 7/8's Amerifax and 1/8 Longhorn.  The original mating we did was we bred our mostly amerifax heifers one year to a couple longhorns  bulls and we got three or four of these white animals with black spots.  Some had a lot of black spots and one was all white except her muzzle  if I remember right (it's been 20 years since we did that).  The pic is of a great granddaughter of those original half bloods.  White just keeps showing up even when mated to an angus bull, one year they'll have a black calf and the next year the calf will look like momma.  These white animals have went CAB for us on the grid! ;D  We've only got one of these white animals left she really stands out with a bunch of blacks!

I like her. She looks really cow-y.
